We are a group of woodturners who live in and around Grass Valley and Nevada City, California.  We joined together to expand our ability to turn wood objects and to help others to do so.    We share our work, methods, new ideas, and demonstrate tools and techniques with each other and in our community.  Between meetings we are available to help each other, gather wood, and search out learning and teaching opportunities.  We welcome new members of all skill levels, and visitors who want to explore becoming a woodturner. We became a chapter of the American Association of Woodturners (AAW) on January 24, 2007.
